Even though design often has a practical purpose, it can also be meaningful and add value—this also applies to web design, which can be much more than just a sales pitch or a marketing platform.
Websites can tell stories, conceptually approach a topic, and—at least for me—serve as the digital equivalent of high-quality print products like magazines.
While the tactile aspect may be missing, a website can still deliver an amazing experience—just like a good magazine—through animation, interaction, and smart ideas.
